For my mommy on Mother's Day

I thought I would take a minute or two to share all the special things I love about my mom :) There is so much she has had to put up with, but still loves us! So here are a few of my favorite things.

1. She is always helping others - doing cancer walks, helping with SPRED, donating, etc.

2. She's bailed me out - helping me finish teaching materials while I was crying during student teaching at 11 oclock at night.

3. She takes our jokes even when it is usually about her (you know we love you...now in or out)

4. She loves us all just the same (well, that's what she says...but it's ok to admit it is me you love the most)

5. She is crafty....even when she has no choice but to make wedding invitations, place cards, do the flowers, programs, and on and on.

6. She says funny things (well that's just ducky cool, do you see this things attached to my ear)

7. She calls to check in.

8. She gives my school flowers to sell so I can raise money for our store.

9. She makes me dinner (and mike) when sometimes we just pop in to say hello.

10. She does crazy things just because I tell her to (dance around the kitchen table)

11. She teaches us lessons even when she has to do it the hard way (don't worry, I will have a good threat for my future children when they don't pick up their toys)

12. She likes the same t.v. shows as I do.

13. She loves my husband even when he talks about poop.

14. She's cleaned up my throw up and has taken care of me when I was sick.

15. She was my number one fan attending nearly all of my games and cheering me on.

16. She helped out at St. Victor's and Seton..making sure I was receiving the best education while sometimes doing crazy mom things (dressing up like cat in the hat and coming into my 8th grade classroom)

17. She made me a door for my bedroom in the basement.

18. She decorated the front lawn with paper bee's and a big sign for my 16th birthday.

19. She has cherished every crazy present I've given her (rocks with her name, mugs that say number one mom, pins that say number one mom, keychains that say number one mom, cards that say number one mom)

20. She still appreciates when I tell her she is the number one mom. I LOVE YOU MAMA C!

And Kelly....I didn't forget about you on Mother's Day. Here are a few things I cherish about you.

1. You have shown your sons the importance of saying I love you (everytime they tell me I love you I tear up)

2. You are not afraid to dance and sing....and your sons aren't, either.

3. You have taught Colin to proceed the word "Michelle" with "My Bell".

4. You forgive people for the poop in the tub, the poop in the pants, the poop on the floor, the poop in a bag coming at your face, the poop in tires...I just had to add that.

5. You are teaching your children to love country music.

6. You read to them every night.

7. You share your children with us...and let us return them most of the time in one piece.

8. You shower them with kisses.

Stacy and Allison....don't think I forgot about you. Just because your children have four legs, don't think you go unnoticed!

1. You forgive them for their accidents.

2. You dress them in funny outfits. (Well Stacy at least).

3. You clean up their throw up when they get car sick.

4. You take them for walks.

5. You spoil them with toys and treats.

Some of those things are eerily the same things said in Kelly and Mom's. The two of you will make excellent mother's in the future!

I love the four of you :)
